The corridor was nicely decorated, with a brilliant green carpet, expensive decorations, old oil paintings, and chandlers.

White candles were hanging from the chandlers, elegant as they may appear, little did the humans know this chandler would be the end of the corridor, and start a fire. A very special fire it was to be!

A tall man in a hooded black robe marched down the corridor; behind him was a woman with flowing blonde hair and beauty so great, it could blind the beholder.
"The time has come, my dear Cornelia", the man said calmly, looking up at the candle-lit chandler.

"I know, Dwight! You've been ranting about it all summer long"! Cornelia gave a spat at the man's shoe.

"We don't have time for bickering, my dear. It's time for action", Dwight said.

"Now that I'd like to hear about"! Cornelia replied, her face lit up into a nasty smirk.

"The plan it quite simple actually, Corn-Corn, we make the chandler fall, and use it to start a fire to burn down the corridor", Dwight explained.

"I told you before, Dwight; don't call me Corn-Corn! And yeah, sounds like a plan"! Cornelia chirped.

"No need to be so feisty, Cornelia. But yes, let us proceed with the end of the Corridor of Life", Dwight guttered out like an insane person.

Dwight reached his right arm out, and kept it perfectly still; his posture so good it was admirable. Cornelia stood behind him, her beautifully-featured face filled with excitement.

"Join me, Cornelia. Let it begin!" Dwight guided her in a tone that oozed with clever charisma.

"Yes! The end of Barrows is near! Never again, shall Zane Barrow wrong me"! A devious Cornelia whined.

Cornelia marched up to Dwight; her long skirt whirling around her booted legs. She preformed the same form as Dwight.

"The end is near, death is near, they shall burn in hell, burn, burn hard"! Dwight chanted, his face hidden behind the hood of his robe.
Cornelia breathed passionately, her eyes were a mixture of pleasure and hatred,"Oh Dwight! You're much better then old Zane"!

"Well, be glad you chose me while you could, the men have always liked you," Dwight said confidently.

"Oh yes! Zane is just the old fool who rejected me for poor, stupid Kitty Hopewell! I should be glad Zane rejected me, he couldn't have handled a strong, lethal woman like me!"Cornelia shouted at the floor, her fierce anger growing by the second.

"Let's not get out of control, my dear. We're on a mission", Dwight said.

"Right…of course, I apologize", Cornelia said rather guilty; Dwight was the only person she loved, and it was already a miracle brutal Cornelia was capable of such.
Dwight repeated his chant a few more times, until the chandler began to shake back and forth at a dangerous speed. Dwight's sly eyes beamed with delight, his old folk magic had worked!

It wasn't long before the chandler feel down on the green carpet; small flames appeared, but it wasn't enough to destroy the 'oh so special corridor'.
Dwight reached for the sack he had been carrying on his shoulder. He pulled out a red bottle of gasoline, a stack of parchment paper, and lighter.
"Oh! I see what you did there, Dwight", Cornelia chirped, staring happily at Dwight's tools of destruction.
Dwight gave a grim grin to Cornelia and preceded on the mission, he let the parchment paper on fire with his lighter, then he calmly placed the enflamed stack close to the fallen chandler and the other flames. He then pointed the bottle of gasoline at the fire, and squeezed it tightly, the gasoline squirted –like a snake's venom—onto the flames, soon the bottle was empty and the flames of the fire had grown tremendously.
Even if the fire didn't manage to destroy the Corridor of Life, Dwight was positive it would be scorched so horridly it couldn't possibly work, at least not as well.

"Who does old Zane think he is? Living in the House of Life? And Kitty is just as dumb! I hear they have some stupid kids, at least that's what my friend Bessie told me", Cornelia rambled, giving off an evil glare.

"Yes…indeed," Dwight agreed.

Dwight and Cornelia moved down the corridor, to the end to avoid the flames.

"Dwight, listen to this! I hear talking in the room next to us...I think Zane or Kitty
said they smelt smoke", Cornelia whispered, gesturing towards Dwight.

Dwight leaned against the wall –next to Cornelia—His ear against the wall.

Zane and Kitty soon arrived; they couldn't reach Cornelia and Dwight due to the now massive fire, Dwight and Cornelia both turned around in shock.

"Cornelia"...Zane said awkwardly, "And Dwight…the man Kitty described as 'insane'".

"I'm not insane, Zane Barrow! You're Insane! And Kitty Barrow is too stupid to even be alive", Dwight shouted irritably.

"You know, Mr. Dwight Greendeath, you're wasting your time, when you could be killing us or escaping the flames", Kitty said cunningly.

"You know, Kitty. Calling people by both their forenames and surnames, and adding Mister or Miss, it really just a waste of words," Dwight complained.

"Right –and now here you are with your girlfriend, Cornelia Clyde, about to ruin a life--  Think about what you're doing; treat others how you want to be treated, you wouldn't want a historical corridor ruined", Kitty said trying to be manipulative.

"But that's no fun"! Cornelia chirped.

"You're wasting your time, Kitty. We need to save the kids from these criminals", Zane said

Kitty nodded her head in agreement, but then Cornelia spoke to Dwight.

"I'll do the honors", she said, and Dwight muttered agreement so quite, Kitty and Zane were unable to hear it.

"Zane, look me in my eyes, my beautiful emerald green eyes. You always thought they were pretty", Cornelia said as cold as ice.

"Well…I guess one glance can't hurt", said a helpless Zane; Kitty was about to protest but he looked into Cornelia's pretty eyes.

The minute Zane looked into Cornelia's eyes, he couldn't move, he was immersed by her great beauty; and soon…Zane was blinded, he couldn't even see Cornelia's elegance and grace anymore, but he kept still because he knew it was there.
Cornelia let out a sinister bellow, and a white beam shot of Cornelia's mouth and at Zane's heart, Zane was soon dead.
Kitty let out a cry, but Zane's body fell on her as he died, and she fell into the fire along with Zane's dead body.

"I think we'll let the flames take care of Kitty. Good work, Cornelia. We'll see what
happens to their children later", Dwight said.

Kitty (nee Hopewell) Barrow died, just a few minutes after her husband Zane.
Leaving their innocent children to the corruption of Dwight Greendeath and Cornelia Clyde.
Just a little something I thought, but I'd apreciate it if people read it :)
